Comp.A. No.284 of 2024 in C.P.No.17 of 2004 K.KUMARESH BABU, J.

This Application has been filed seeking the following reliefs: (a) To take this Report on record, (b) To permit the Official Liquidator to open a separate dividend account with Punjab National Bank, NSC Bose Road, Chennai for a sum of Rs.2,06,976/- for exlusively for disbursement to K.Gomathi W/o. Late M.Kamaraj.

(c) To permit the Official Liquidator to keep the dividend account open for one month from the date of opening dividend account and thereafter to remit the unclaimed amount, if any, to the Registrar of Companies, Coimbatore under Section 555 (1) & (3) of the Companies Act, 1956, (d) Permit the Official Liquidator to meet the incidental expenses in connection with the declaration/ disbursement of dividend from the funds of the company in liquidation, and (e) To pass such further or other order.

No.157 of 2024, this Court had directed the Official K.KUMARESH BABU, J.

gba Liquidator to consider the claim of the applicants therein and pass appropriate orders. Pursuant to the said direction issued by this Court, the claim of the applicants therein have been considered by the Official Liquidator and had arrived at a opinion that the applicants therein could be entitled to a sum of Rs.2,06,976/-.

3. Considering the fact that the Official Liquidator has arrived at a figure for the applicants in C.A.No.157 of 2024 and hence, the present Application is ordered as prayed for.

4. Accordingly, this Application is ordered. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
