ORDER

The plaintiff has filed the present Revision seeking expeditious disposal of an amendment application pending in I.A.No.7 of 2024 in O.S.No.22 of 2021 on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Kancheepuram.

2. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also gone through the materials placed before this Court.

4. It is the major grievance of the learned counsel for the petitioner that, the interlocutory application for amendment of the plaint has been filed on 03.06.2024 and the same has not been disposed of, for over one year.

5. In view of the above, the Principal District Court, Kancheepuram is directed to dispose of I.A.No.7 of 2024 in O.S.No.22 of 2021 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity of hearing to the parties.

6. It is also brought to my notice that, the defendant are yet to file written statements in the above said suit. In view of the fact that the suit is of the year 2021 and the same is pending for the past four years, the Trial Court is directed to thereafter dispose of the main suit in O.S.No.22 of 2021 within a period of seven (7) months.

7. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
