O R D E R

This petition has been filed to issue a direction to the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.316 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent Police and to file final report, expeditiously.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner / de facto complainant is working as Guest Lecturer (English Department) at Rajagopalasami Government Arts College, Mannargudi from January 2012 and he is facing unbearable atrocities in the hands of one Mr.Maran, Head of the Department of the College. He further submits that though the complaint was filed on 07.04.2016 and the case was taken on file in Crime No.316 of 2016, till date final report was not filed. 3.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent.

4.Heard both the sides.

5.Considering the fact that the case was registered as early as on 19.04.2016, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.316 of 2016, and file final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
