The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 417 and 506(i) of IPC r/w Section 3(1) (r) of SC/ST (POA) Amended Act 2015, in Crime No.201 of 2016 on the file of the respondent Police, have filed this petition seeking a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem to accept the petitioners' bail application and consider the bail application on the same day on merits. 2.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents.

3.Heard both sides.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem is directed to accept https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the surrender of the petitioners and consider their bail application on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and to pass suitable orders, in the event of the petitioners surrendering before the said court within 15 days from today and filing of petition seeking bail.
