This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents to regularize the service of the petitioners in the regular vacancy in the post of pharmacists as per 2/6

G.O.Ms.No.335, Health and Family Welfare (C1) Department, dated 12.11.2015 and in the light of orders passed by this Court in a batch of Writ Petitions in W.P.No.14122 of 2023 etc., dated 15.07.2024.

2. Heard Mr.K.Krishnan, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.M.Bindran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.L.Murugavelu, learned counsel for fifth respondent.

3. The case of the petitioners is that they are working as pharmacist under the respondents in Villupuram under RBSK scheme. The petitioners have sought for regularization of their services. The petitioners are specifically relying upon the order passed by this Court in a batch of writ petitions on 15.07.2024. A representation in this regard is pending before respondents 1 and 2.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the relevant Government Order and also the order passed by this Court in a batch of writ petitions, it will suffice if a direction is issued to respondents 1 and 2 to deal with the representation made by the 3/6

petitioners on 01.08.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and in line with the relevant Government Order and also the order passed in the batch of writ petitions, if the petitioners are also similarly placed. A final decision shall be taken by respondents 1 and 2 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The petitioners are directed to submit a fresh representation to the respondents 1 and 2 along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
