The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC r/w Sections 3(1)(r)(1) and 3(1)(s) of SC/ST Act, in Crime No.151 of 2016 on the file of the respondent Police, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Vellore to accept the petitioner's bail application and consider the bail application on the same day on merits.

2.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent.

3.Heard both sides.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Vellore is directed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and to pass suitable orders, in the event of the petitioner surrendering before the said court within 15 days from today and filing of petition seeking bail.
