ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the 4 th and 5 th Respondents to give electricity connection to the petitioner's house based on the representation made by the petitioners on 08.04.2024.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the subject property, and he is paying property tax, water tax, etc. According to the petitioner, he has installed solar energy, and he is managing to get the electricity supply. The

petitioner submitted an application and filed the necessary documents seeking electricity connection for the house. Since the same was not acted upon, repeated representations were sent. The same has not been acted upon, resulting in the petitioner filing the present petition.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner will be acted upon, and a decision will be taken within the time frame fixed by this Court.

4. In light of the above, there shall be a direction to the 4 th Respondent to take a decision and convey the same to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
