O R D E R

The petitioner had filed this writ petition challenging the order of the second respondent dated 17.12.2004 in N.K.No.16756/2002/MC2 to quash the same and direct the respondents to pay the amount of increment cut.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was working as an R.N.M.R incharge in the Ukkadam, Cattle Farm, from the year 1984. While being so, the petitioner was issued with a charge memo dated 03.01.2003. Prior to that he was placed under suspension on 09.08.2002. After conducting enquiry the first respondent imposed the punishment of 2 years increment cut.

3. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the second respondent on 28.04.2003. On 17.12.2004 the second respondent reduced the punishment from cut of 2 years increment to 1 year. Aggrieved by the same the present writ petition is filed.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has retired from service and in the absence of any interim order the punishment was also implemented and nothing survives for further adjudication.

5. In view of the above, after lapse of nearly 11 years, I do not find anything survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
