O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking police protection to the petitioners from the fifth respondent who is the father of the first petitioner herein.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the first petitioner who is aged about 24 years has eloped with the second petitioner, aged about 34 years and got married, whereas, the fourth respondent police based on the girl missing complaint given by the fifth respondent/father of the first petitioner, threatening her.

3. The first petitioner has given a representation seeking protection to the third respondent in whose jurisdiction, she and her husband, the second petitioner are presently living.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the case in Cr.No.111 of 2024 was registered on 24.07.2024 on the complaint given by one Palanivel stating that his daughter Jeevitha gone missing. While so, a representation from the said Jeevitha has been received by the third respondent/Inspector of Police, Royapettah and that representation is under investigation. Since girl missing complaint been given by the father, the same has been registered in Cr.No.111 of 2024 and a representation seeking protection received by the third respondent/Inspector of Police, Royapettah at Chennai, both will be taken up for enquiry by the Royapettah Police and same will be shared about the outcome with the 4th respondent/ The Inspector of Police/Viraganoor Police Station, Salem District.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
