ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to adopt the duration (4 years) and percentage of increase in the revision of pension on par with the revision of wages and salary made under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, between the recognized Trade Unions and the respondents herein from time to time for the pensioners of TANGEDCO.

2. The petitioners who claims revision of pension on par with the revision of wage and salary made under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947, has given various representations to the respondents. Since the said representations have not been considered and no order has been passed so far, the petitioners have filed this petition.

3. Mr.K.Rajkumar, learned Standing Counsel for TNEB submitted that the petitioners may give a fresh representation in this regard and the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders accordingly.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner shall give a fresh representation to the respondents and on receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the petitioners' representation.
