The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.08.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii),(B) of NDPS r/w Sec.8(c) of NDPS Act 1985 r/w 34 IPC and Section 77 of J.J.Act in Crime No.102 of 2022 on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that when the respondent on regular patrol, the petitioner was found to be in possession of 6 Kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions imposed by this Court. Therefore, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner was found to be in possession of 6 Kgs of Ganja and the contraband has been recovered him. He would further submit that there are 4 previous cases against the petitioner in similar nature. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.
5. Taking into consideration the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel, and also taking note of the fact that the recovered contraband is 6 kg and there are 4 previous cases against the petitioner in similar nature, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
