These miscellaneous petitions have been preferred to relax the condition imposed on the petitioners/appellants in Crl.A.Nos.825 and 826 of 2022 on 11.8.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that while granting bail on 11.08.2022, this Court imposed a condition that the petitioners shall stay at Nagapattinam and report before the Inspector of Police, Nagapattinam Police Station every day at 10.30 a.m for a period of eight weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. However, the petitioners have now come forward with the present petitions seeking relaxation of the above condition.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the

respondent submitted that investigation is pending and charge sheet has not yet been filed.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances and also considering the serious nature of the offences involved in the case, this Court is not inclined to relax the condition imposed on the petitioners. Accordingly, these miscellaneous petitions are dismissed. 27.09.2022 ms
