By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
The petitioner claims to be the owner of the agricultural lands admeasuring an extent of 3.2 kuzhi in S.F.No.654/656 situate at Uzhavarkarai village and alleging land grabbing on the part of the respondents 3 and 4, had submitted a representation dated 30.11.2015 to the 1st respondent, who in turn, forwarded the same to the 2nd respondent for conducting an enquiry. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though the date of enquiry was fixed on 29.01.2016 and 29.02.2016 respectively, in which the petitioner as well as the rival claimants had also participated, no progress is taking place and hence, came forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Government Advocate [Puducherry] who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.
This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the 2nd respondent to conclude the enquiry in respect of the petition for land grabbing submitted by the petitioner, after putting on notice, the respondents 3 and 4 herein and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 3 and 4.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
