O R D E R

Complaining that the order dated 02.04.2024 made in Crl.R.C.No.1014 of 2023 has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition is filed.

2.This Court, by its order dated 02.04.2024 disposed of the criminal revision case and confirmed the amount awarded by the Trial Court and directed the respondent to pay the amount on or before 5th of every English month. In respect of arrears of maintenance is concerned, this Court directed the respondent / husband to deposit 50% of the arrears amount towards maintenance to the credit of M.C.No.386 of 2016 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Upon deposit, liberty was granted to the respondent to file a modification petition under Section 127 of Cr.P.C. Complaining that the arrears of amount was not properly deposited by the respondent / husband and there was a calculation error, the present contempt petition is filed.

3. For calculation error, the remedy is available only before the Trial Court by giving proper calculation memo and the same cannot be adjudicated before this sitting under Article 226. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed.
