Prayer: This Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent herein for committing the contempt of Court for willfully and wantonly disobeying the order of this Court dated 10.01.2025 passed in Crl.O.P.No.891 of 2025.

ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the petition in Crl.O.P.No.891of 2025, vide order dated 10.01.2025 directed the respondent to file charge sheet within a period of 1 / 3

two months.

The grievance of the contempt petitioner is that despite directions of this Court to the respondent to file charge sheet within a period of two months, the respondent has not completed the investigation and filed charge sheet within the time stipulated by this Court.

Today, when the matter is called for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that in this case, as per the order of this Court, investigation completed and negative Final Report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate III, Cuddalore, in C.M.P.No.10965 of 2025 and the same also served on the contempt petitioner.

Recording the above submissions and the compliance, this Contempt Petition is closed.
