ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioner seeking permission of this Court to withdraw 50% of the deposited amount of Rs.3,27,618/- out of the total amount of Rs.6,55,236/- deposited in the credit of C.P.No.5 of 2018 on the file of the Principal Labour Court, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to this Court's order, the Management deposited Rs.6,55,236/- to the credit of C.P.No.5 of 2018. The petitioner, being unemployed since, 01.12.2014, lacks means of sustenance and seeks withdrawal of 50% of the deposited amount.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent confirms that no appeal has been filed against the order directing deposit of the aforementioned amount.

4. In the said circumstances, this Court permits the petitioner to withdraw Rs.3,27,618/- (50% of the deposited amount) from the Principal Labour Court, Chennai, subject to conditions, if any, to be imposed by the Principal Labour Court.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. 14-08-2025j jai
