This Contempt Petition is filed by complaining that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.34060 of 2018 dated 30.04.2019 has not been complied with.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader took notice for the respondent and sought time to get instructions.

3. Accordingly, the contempt petition was adjourned.

4. Today, when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.34060 of 2018 dated 30.04.2019 has been complied with by issuing the proceedings dated 18.10.2019 by the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Chennai. He has also produced a copy of the said order.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the reasons stated in the order dated 18.10.2019 are wholly unsustainable.

6. Needless to say that if the petitioner is aggrieved against the said order, it is open to them to challenge the same in the manner known to law before appropriate forum.
