ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the XIVth Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai to dispose the case in C.C.No.5450 of 2020 as early as possible.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned 1/4

Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the first respondent. 3.This case was registered under Section 379 IPC and there are eight witnesses. This Court finds from the case number itself that there are more than 5000 cases were filed in the year 2020. Between 2020 to 2022, many other cases might have been filed. Therefore, it is not possible to fix any time frame for disposal of this case. However, considering the plea of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a law graduate and enrolment is postponed due to the pendency of this case, the learned XIVth Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai is directed to take up the case and dispose the same as expeditiously as possible.
