ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A), 14 A of Tamilnadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.474 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the case was registered against 4 persons the petitioners arrayed as A2 and A3. That on 28.10.2021 the defacto complainant inspected the vehicle Reg.No.TN72AT0676 super ACE it came from Pondicherry while stopped vehicle in that vehicle loaded 63 box of Pondicherry liquor without any valid license and furthermore it was found that illegal arrack also. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that 63 box of liquor and 15 litres of ID arrack, A2 having one 302 case, A4 still absconding. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the allegations and the nature of the offences involved in this matter and the investigation is in initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, the petition seeking anticipatory bail is dismissed.
