22286 of 2004 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent herein to pay the award amount in accordance with the Award No.5/200 dated 10.04.2002 in respect of the lands comprised in Survey Nos.181/4B, 181/8A, 181/8C, 181/8E, 181/9, 181/10A, 181/13A, 181/8D, 181/10B - total extent of 1.29.5 hectares of Devanur Village and Post, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Perambalur District and to make a reference to the Sub-Court Ariyalur for the determination of the compensation under section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894.

ORDER

On 18.07.2017, when the Writ Petitions were taken up, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Hence, the Registry was directed to list the matters under the caption "For Dismissal" next week. When the Writ Petitions are listed under the said caption today, again, there is no representation for the petitioners. Hence, these Writ Petitions are dismissed for Default. No costs.
