O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred, to call for the records in Cr. No.727 of 2021 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Panruti Police Station, Cuddalore and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had given a complaint against the 2nd respondent. Subsequently, the 2nd respondent has also given a complaint and on the basis of which, the present FIR has been registered.

3. On perusal of the FIR, it is seen that the petitioner and the 2nd respondent have given complaints in respect of the offence which was said to have occurred on 08.07.2021. It is a case in counter and two FIRs have been registered on the complaint given by two opposite parties, with regard to the same occurrence. Hence, the 1st respondent police shall follow the standing orders given in the Police Standing Order 566(2) and investigate both the cases simultaneously and file a report by finding out who is the aggressor. 2/4

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
