The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose petitioner representation dated 04.08.2022 in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner was working as Superintendent at TASMAC Shop No.4332. While so, in the year 2020 the petitioner was transferred, as against which the petitioner filed a writ petition in W.P.No.4166 of 2020, where an interim order was given. Thereafter the writ petition was withdrawn. According to the petitioner the same was withdrawn only at the insistence of the respondents. After withdrawing the writ petition, though the petitioner was directed to continue the job and he continued from April 2020 to January 2021, the petitioner has not been paid salary for the said period of ten months. Though the petitioner had made an attempt to get the salary, it did not yield the desired result and ultimately he has given a representation on 04.08.2022. Even after giving such representation as there was no positive order forthcoming from the respondents sanctioning the salary to the petitioner for the ten months, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.D.Bharathy learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Balakrishnan, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
4. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent TASMAC would submit that, if the petitioner has not been paid salary for the said period from April 2020 to January 2021, the same would be calculated and paid within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said submission, especially the stand taken by the learned counsel for the respondents on instructions, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. "That there shall be a direction to the respondents to calculate the salary payable to the petitioner for the period of 10 months from April 2020 to January 2021, and pay the same, if not already paid, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
