produce the detenue Thangam, wife of Murugan, aged about 32 years, petitioner's daughter, now confined at Special Prison for Women, Vellore, before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo D.O.No.97/2021-C2 dated 05.11.2021 detaining her daughter as "Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.6407, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 24.12.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
