The miscellaneous petition has been instituted to condone the delay of 1563 days in representation of review application in Rev.Sr.No.55044 of 2018.

The reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the miscellaneous petition is that the review petition was filed on 07.06.2018, which was returned by the Registry of High Court of Madras on 09.01.2019 for rectification of certain defects. The petitioner has not represented the petition by complying the defects within a time limit stipulated and represented the review petition with a delay of 1563 days. 3.

Perusal of the affidavit would reveal that there is no reason stated except by stating that the petitioner suffered health issues. Even the nature of health issues or the medical documents have not been submitted before us. Pertinently, even the nature of ailments suffered by the petitioner itself have not been stated. Such blanket reasons cannot be entertained for 1/3

condoning the enormous delay of 1563 days. This Court passed final orders in the writ appeal on 19.11.2014. Almost 10 years lapsed. Thus, uncondonable delay cannot be condoned in a routine manner. Mere statement in the affidavit unsubstantiated deserves no merit consideration. 4.
