Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second Respondents to allow and permit the Petitioner who is studying in a school affiliated to the third Respondent to participate in sports events and Badminton tournaments conducted by the First and Second Respondents.

The prayer in the writ petition is with regard to the sports events and badminton tournaments conducted by the first and second respondents which was scheduled to be held in the year 2010.

2. The petitioner is the state board student and he intended to take part in the sports events conducted by the first and second respondents. First of all the student has got no right to participate in the sports events conducted by the another agency namely CBSE. Even otherwise, the writ petition has become infructuous, as the event was to take place in the year 2010. Therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition. Hence this petition is dismissed as nothing survives. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
