Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle all the monetary benefits, arrears of salary, Provident Fund, DCRG, Special Provident Fund and other monetary and service benefits to the petitioners in thelight of hte order passed by the second respondent in his Proc.na.Ka.No.533/A1/2011 dated 5.6.2012. ORDER

The petitioners are the legal representatives of Thiru M. Ramalingam, who worked as part time sweeper in the office of the Assistant Elementary Educational Officer. The father of the petitioners completed more than ten years of service. He died on 4 March 2009. It is the grievance of the petitioners that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents have not taken any action to pay the arrears of salary and other benefits.

2. The second petitioner petitioner has submitted a representation on 12 September 2012 requesting the third respondent to pay the arrears of salary and other benefits consequent to the death of their father. However there was no follow up action taken by the third respondent resulting in filing this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. The third respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the second petitioner dated 12 September 2012 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
