The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal pending on his file as expeditiously as possible.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased land situated in S.Nos.320/11 and 78/7 under registered Sale Deed dated 25.04.2023 from one Periyammal. It is also stated that one Mariyammal filed an appeal to the 2nd respondent under Section 12 of the Patta Pass Book Act, 1987, seeking modification in the revenue records. The 2nd respondent issued summons to all persons interested including the petitioner. However, the appeal has not been disposed of till date, even though the 3rd respondent also filed a report to the 2nd respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the appeal filed by one Mariyammal will be considered by the 2nd respondent on its own merit within the time fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going 2/4
