ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus, to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to measure the petitioner's land about 25 ares, comprised in S.No.154/8A, situated at Gopalapuram Village, Pethanaickenpalayam Taluk, Salem District by disposing of the petitioner's online application dated 16.06.2025 vide petition No.2025/0123/08/010839.
3. It is stated that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the subject property and had acquired title over property by way of inheritance. It is stated that the subject property is ancestral and that the petitioner is in continuous possession and enjoyment and has been carrying on agricultural work in the subject property. It is 2/5
in these circumstances, the petitioner filed an online application viz., Application No.2025/0123/08/010839 dated 16.06.2025, seeking to measure subject property and has also paid necessary charges. However, no action has been taken by the respondents till date. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

On this being pointed out, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that they would consider the petitioner's online application dated 16.06.2025 and carry out a survey and complete the process within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view thereof, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 16.06.2025 and carry out a survey and complete the process within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with 3/5
