The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of the SC/ST Act, 1989 in Crime No.374 of 2012 on the file of the respondent Police, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the learned Special Sessions Court SC/ST (POA) Act, Villupuram, to consider the petitioner's bail application on the same day on merits.

2.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent.

3.Heard both sides.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Special Sessions Court SC/ST (POA) Act, Villupuram is directed to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

his bail application on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and to pass suitable orders, in the event of the petitioner surrendering before the said court within 15 days from today and filing of petition seeking bail. 5.This petition is ordered accordingly.
