This petition is filed to condone the delay of 358 days in filing the writ appeal.

Heard Mr.U.M.Ravichandran, learned Special Government Pleader for the petitioners and Mr.M.Gnanasekar, learned counsel for the first respondent.

Though it was opposed by learned counsel appearing for the first respondent in condoning the delay in filing the writ appeal, being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 358 days in filing the writ appeal stands condoned, of course, on condition that the petitioners pay a cost of Rs.2,000/- to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Failing which, this petition stands dismissed automatically without further reference to this Court.

The present petition, accordingly, stands ordered.
