This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.37/2017 on the file of the XVIIIth Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai -15 and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the trial was conducted in C.C.No.37/2017 and the petitioners were acquitted of all the charges. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in the quash petition.

3. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
