This miscellaneous petition has been preferred to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by judgment dated 29.08.2022 in Special Sessions C.C. No.79 of 2020, on the file of the Sessions Special Court for exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Coimbatore and enlarge the petitioner on bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since the petitioner was found guilty of the offence under Section 7 of the POCSO Act, this Court is inclined to take up the main appeal itself ''for final disposal'' soon after receipt of the entire records, and hence, this Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. The respondent-Police is directed to secure the accused.

4.The Registry is directed to call for the records from the Court below on or before 29.09.2022 and thereafter, prepare typed set of papers on or before 12.10.2022 and serve copies on the learned counsel on either side well in advance, as per the criminal rules of practice. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
