This miscellaneous petition has been filed to amend the prayer in the writ petition as " It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus to Call for the records pertaining to the G.O.(D) No.90, dated 23.01.2017 issued by the respondent and to quash the same and consecutively release the detenu, Selvam @ Selvaraj @ Auto Selvaraj S/o. Karuppaiah aged about 57 years, convict No.22743 is a life convict prisoner confined at Trichy Central Jail, Trichy to release prematurely as per the G.O.(Ms)No.65 dated 01.02.2018 G.O.(Ms.)No.488 dated 15.11.2021 and also under Rules 632, 633, 634 or 635 of Tamil Nadu Prison Rules, 1983, who is inside jail for more than 32 years and to pass such other further other orders."

Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of the petition, this Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
