ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.115 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section 302 IPC, on the file of Inspector of Police, Ranipet Police Station to CBCID Wing Ranipet District to secure the ends of justice.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the FIR in Crime No.115 of 2024 was registered on 19.02.2024 itself, till date there is no progress. Therefore, the present petition is filed for transfer of investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents police submitted that there is no eyewitness to the occurrence and therefore, they are proceeding with the suspected accused. So far, 65 persons have been examined and samples have also been taken from the suspected persons and that the investigation is under progress. 2/5

4. It is seen that the investigation is under progress and there is no ground for transfer of investigation.

5. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

6. The respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and file the charge sheet as early as possible and within a reasonable time. 15.07.2025 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No ksa-2 3/5
