Respondent PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 483(1)(b) of BNSS, praying to modify the condition imposed upon the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.1345 of 2024 on the file of learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Kunnam by an order dated 27.01.2025 by directing the petitioner / accused shall appear and sign before the respondent police station daily at 10.30a.m for a period of 15 days.

O R D E R

The petitioner was granted bail by the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Kunnam in Crl.M.P.No.1345 of 2024 , dated 27.01.2025 and one of the conditions was that the petitioner must appear before the respondent police station daily at 10.00a.m., for a period of 15 days. 1/4

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that, he is unable to comply with the condition of appearing in various police stations situated in three different districts and is not in a position to attend his normal duties on time. Hence, he seeks modification of the condition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly.

4. Considering the submissions of both sides and the nature of the offence, the condition imposed on the petitioner is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Udayarpalayam Police Station, Ariyalur, for a period of 30 days and thereafter as and when required. During this period, if the petitioner is required to appear before any other Trial Court, appropriate directions shall be issued accordingly.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered. 06.08.2025 nvi 2/4
