Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to forward the proposals of the petitioner for one advance increment as per G.O.Ms.No.1785 dated 5.12.1988 issued by the 2nd respondent pursuant to the proceedings Na.Ka.No.03641/AA4/2013 issued by the 4th respondent dated 3.5.2019 and consequently direct the 4th respondent to disburse the same and pass orders.

The case of the petitioner is that in order to avail advance increment as per G.O.Ms.No.1785 dated 5.12.1988, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent on 09.03.2019, however till date representation was not considered by the first respondent. Hence the present Writ Petition is filed.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would be suffice to issue direction the first respondent to pass orders on representation dated 09.03.2019.
3. This Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 09.03.2019, submitted by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
