Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the first respondent in G.O.Ms.No.10, Health & Family Welfare Department dated 21.1.2004 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to promote the petitioners as Senior Analyst according to their seniority. ORDER

The petitioners approached the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai in O.A.No.817 of 2004 challenging the order passed by the first respondent and to consequently promote them as Senior Analyst according to their seniority. Subsequently, the matter has been transferred and renumbered as the present writ petition.

2. When the matter was taken up, both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the prayer has become infructuous, since the petitioners have already been promoted as Senior Analysts vide G.O.(Ms.) No.231, Health and Family Welfare (M1) Department dated 20.7.2012.

3. Recording the above statement, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
