2. According to the petitioner, in connection with Vinayaka Chathurthi festival, he wants to organize an event which includes cultural events containing song and dance programme and also other programmes with the participation of children. Since the application submitted by them on 31.08.2016 has not been favoured with any kind of response, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, the learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and who would submit that the respondent in consideration of the relevant facts and circumstances will pass orders as expeditiously as possible and the said submission is placed on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
