PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the detention order in 279/BCDFGISSSV/2025 dated 28.05.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the Sathya @ Psycho Sathya aged 25 years, s/o.Ganesan, who is presently confined in the Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.4099, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 11.07.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
