The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider his application dated 29.11.2013 to measure his property bearing Plot No.67 1/4
measuring an extent of 1215 sq.feet comprised in S.No.316/1, 2A, 2B, C and D situated at Kannapalayam Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

According to the petitioner, the petitioner purchased the above mentioned property from one Venkatasamy Naidu under a registered Sale Deed dated 30.10.1997 bearing Document No.5594/1997 on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Kundrathur. The petitioner submitted online application dated 29.11.2013 seeking survey of the above mentioned property and the same has not been considered by the respondent till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondent would submit that the application of the petitioner was submitted in the year 2013 and therefore, if the petitioner submits a fresh online application, the same will be considered by the respondent in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioner to submit a fresh online application for surveying of his land within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall also pay necessary charges for survey of the land. On payment of necessary charges, the respondent shall consider the application and pass final orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the application.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
