ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2023 and pass orders in

a manner known to law within a reasonable time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's mother is suffering from a mental illness known as dementia, due to which the petitioner's mother has lost her mental faculties. The petitioner is the sole care giver of her mother. The petitioner's mother has assets in her name such as bank deposits and valuables secured in bank lockers. Now the petitioner requires some portion of the assets for the well-being for her mother. As the petitioner unable to maintain her mother's assets, she made a representation to the 2nd respondent seeking to appoint her as legal guardian of her mother under section 14 of the National Trust for Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities Act, 1999. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.

Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and orders will be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.
