For Petitioner : Mr.K.Venkatramani, Senior Counsel in all WPs for M.Muthappan For Respondents : Mr.P.Baladhandayutham in both WPs Special Government Pleader COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed to direct the the respondents to restore seniority of the petitioners on par with those who were selected and appointed as fireman and sent for training on 22.10.2001 and fix their seniority in the cadre of Fireman based on the marks secured by them in the process of Selection made by the third Respondent in the light of the representation made by them dated 19.2.2022 and 16.02.2022 respectively and grant all consequential service and monetary benefits.
2. The case of the petitioners is that they were appointed during the 2/5
year 1999 - 2000 and they were sent for training belatedly. Therefore, they are seeking to restore their seniority from the date of their appointment. In this regard, they have given a representation to the respondents. However, the same has not been considered by them. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
3. Since limited relief is sought, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 19.02.2022 and 16.02.2022 respectively and pass Orders on the same on merits within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
4. With the above directions, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
