O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members relating to the alleged false cases filed against him in Crime Nos.647 and 648 of 2015.

2.Since on an allegation of bribery, the petitioner was harassed, this Court by order dated 28.01.2016 in a petition filed for anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P.No.354 of 2016, dealt with the matter elaborately and granted anticipatory bail to the

petitioner on certain conditions and also directed the Home Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, Director General of Police and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Vellore, to take appropriate action with regard to the allegation of bribery, against the erring police officer.

3.Now the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the subordinate police officials are harassing the petitioner since the erring police officer has been placed under suspension only due to the action of the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there is no such harassment and that the petitioner's presence is required only for enquiry and he is required to cooperate with the respondent police for completion of the enquiry as well as for filing final report.

5.Recording the above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
