This application has been filed by the petitioners / third parties seeking leave of this court to file the contempt petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, who submitted that this court by order dated 27.01.2022 in WP.No.18109 of 2018 filed by the first respondent herein, has directed the respondent authorities, after issuing due notice to all the parties concerned, to inspect the property and demarcate the boundaries of the water body and Government land, and thereafter proceed further, if there was any encroachment. However, without issuing any notice, they have demolished the structure and houses of the petitioners and thereby, disobeyed the order of this court, which would amount to contemptuous act, for which, they are liable to be punished. Therefore, this sub application came to be filed seeking leave of this court to file contempt petition.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent authorities 2 to 6 has no serious objection for ordering this petition.

4.Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, leave is granted and this application is ordered accordingly.
