This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.9 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard Mr.M.Sasi Kumar, learned counsel appearing for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that investigation has been transferred from the file respondent police to the file of All Women Police Station, Selaiyur and the same is under investigation by the Selaiyur Police Station. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that four weeks time may be granted to file a final report.

4. In view of the above, the Inspector of Police, All Women Police 2/4

Station, Selaiyur, is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de facto complainant. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
