The petitioners/A2 and A3, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, and 506(ii) of I.P.C, in Crime No.827 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent would submit that the de-facto complainant Ilakiya belongs to paraiyar group which comes under the Scheduled Caste.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the charge has been altered into SC&ST Act. Hence, the anticipatory bail is not maintainable.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a liberty is given to the petitioner to workout his remedy in accordance with law.
