ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1)(A) of Tamilnadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.198 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 27.04.2021, when the respondent police were on duty to prevent 110 litres of illicit arrack was suspected to transporting the petitioner the respondent took the petitioner the same was filed. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that 120 litres of illicit arrack and 7 previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the allegations and the nature of the offences involved in this matter and 7 previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the petition seeking anticipatory bail is dismissed.
