When the matter is taken up today for hearing, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that pursuant to the order passed by the District Collector and District Magistrate of Kallakurichi District in D.O.No.C2/39/2024 dated 20.08.2024, the petitioner has been detained as a "Bootlegger" as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. They also produced a copy of the order.

2. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
