W.M.P.Nos.24498 & 24502 of 2019 in W.P.No.14236 of 2019 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J.

The petition was originally filed in the nature of mandamus seeking alteration in the entry in the date of birth, in the Marriage Certificate of the petitioner. It is represented that due to the pending writ petition, the said request was rejected by the Authorities.

2. Consequently, the W.M.P.No.24498 of 2019 had been filed to amend the writ petition to a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus. In view of the said facts, the petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments and the petitioner is to file amended copy for reference. Simultaneously, the W.M.P.No.24502 of 2019 had been filed to dispense with the production of original impugned order dated 20.03.2019, by which the representation was rejected. Dispense with, is granted.

4. Call the matter once again on 06.01.2020.
