Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 439 (b) & 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to modify the condition of depositing of Rs.25,000/- in the credit of Cr.No.469 of 2023 before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Uthukottai and report before the respondent Police for 30 days at 10.30 a.m as passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur, in Crl.M.P.No.3411 of 2023 dated 03.08.2023.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition of depositing of Rs.25,000/- in the credit of Cr.No.469 of 2023 before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Uthukottai and report before the respondent Police for 30 days at 10.30 a.m as passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur, in Crl.M.P.No.3411 of 2023 dated 03.08.2023.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in Crl.M.P.No.3411 of 2023 by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvallur. While granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner, thelearned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvallur, directed the petitioner to deposit Rs.25,000/- to the credit of Cr.No.469 of 2023 of Uthukottai Police Station before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Uthukottai and report before the respondent Police daily by 10.30 a.m. for 30 days.

3.In the circumstances stated by the learned counsel for petitioner and having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit, this Court modifies the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.3411 of 2023 dated 03.08.2023 as follows:- "Petitioner shall deposit Rs.15,000/- in the credit of Cr.No.469 of 2023 of Uthukottai Police Station before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Uthukottai, and report before the respondent Police weekly twice at 10.30 a.m".

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Other conditions are retained.
